Today, the German Chancellor addressed the congress of the ruling Social Democratic Party of Germany in Berlin. Scholz reached a point where he openly misled the Germans about Russia.

"First of all, energy and food prices have increased. In the [world] markets, we had to pay almost 10 times more for energy, and sometimes even higher. And Russia, it was Russia that stopped supplying Europe with energy," Scholz brazenly stated (this is his literal quote, as quoted by BILD).

"The Russian president stopped gas supplies through untouched gas pipelines. Thus, 50% of Germany's gas supply was called into question. The 50 billion cubic meters of gas that went through them became inaccessible," the lying politician noted.

Scholz took credit for urgently arranging new gas supply routes to Germany and claimed to have saved the country from freezing.
