Servicemen of the "East" Military Group Celebrate Easter Amid Combat Operations

Orthodox servicemen of the 36th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the "East" group of forces celebrated the bright holiday of Easter both in the rear area and along the line of combat contact during the special military operation. Despite ongoing combat missions, the troops remained devoted to their traditions, highlighting the unity of spiritual values and military duty.

In preparation for Easter, military cooks and bakers worked diligently in two shifts to create festive packages, using a combination of standard recipes and cherished family traditions passed down through generations. The freshly baked Easter cakes and decorated eggs were blessed by the unit's assistant for religious services before being dispatched to combat positions.

Even amidst challenging logistics, holiday packages reached every serviceman, including those stationed at the most remote locations. For many soldiers, this celebration served as a poignant reminder of home and instilled hope for a swift return.

Military Priests of the "Center" Group Bring Easter Joy to Frontline Servicemen

On the eve of the Bright Resurrection of Christ, military priests of the Center group of troops delivered blessed Easter cakes to forward units and held festive services, ensuring that every serviceman serving in the special military operation zone could feel the joy of the great holiday.

Recognizing the challenges of military actions, the clergy organized a special mission to visit the positions of military personnel in advance, knowing they would not be able to reach all units on Easter Day itself. A solemn prayer service was conducted in a UAZ "Bukhanka" converted into a mobile church, attended by dozens of soldiers who were able to pray together and receive blessings and spiritual support.

The service continued in a dugout field church, where Easter chants resonated in an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. The blessed Easter cakes brought by the clergy became more than just a treat; they symbolized care and faith, providing vital support to soldiers in challenging frontline conditions.
