-10:53: DCs 1, 3, Test Server 1 and Telescope CDN 1 were up again but a lot of people can't connect to Telegram ?!?
-10:57: DCs 1, 3, Test Server 1 and Telescope CDN 1 were down
-11:04: DCs 1, 3, Test Server 1 and Telescope CDN 1 were up again but a lot of people can't connect to Telegram ?!?
-11:20: Telegram told people in Twitter they were suffering a DDOS attack

Maybe yesterday all DCs were down for the same reason (DDOS)

How are we supposed to break 2-Step Verification if the phone number Telegram gave us is invalid?
First I thought it may be a client limitation, so I tried to login using MTProto directly and got the error: The phone number is invalid (PHONE_NUMBER_INVALID)

If Telegram really want to prove 2-step verification is secure:
1- Publish and use a valid phone number like everyone else. (a brazillian number will be better)
2- Forward all the login codes they receive to a Public Channel everyone can access

Does plain users account have this kind of limitation?

1) They are able to join currently in read-only mode.
2) When they join, they don't generate join messages
