⚡️🇮🇱❌🇮🇷🇸🇾 - The IDF has uploaded footage of it's most complex Special Operation in it's history, "Operation Deep Layer" in Syria, which occurred in September 8th, 2024.
120 operatives of the "Shaldag" SOF Unit participated in raiding and destroying an underground Precision Missile Assembly and Filling facility in the city of "Maysaf", 200km away from Israel.
The video displayed the entry of the SOF Units into the facility via "CH-60" Helicopters. Worthy to note that Syria's Air Defenses were suppressed during the operation via the Russians. The IAF's "Unit 669" followed an hour's long Air Campaign during and after the operation, targeting several SAA Military Barracks in the vicinity, killing up to 200 troops.
The facility was dug into a mountain at the Scientific Studies and Research Center ("CERS" or "SSRC"), tens of meters underground, thus impossible to destroy via Bunker Buster bombs.
The troops spent over 2.5 hours in Syria, with zero injuries occurring during the entire operation.

🔻 There are three towns with this name in the region, but the one affected by the lithium deposits [3] is the only one under Ukrainian control.
🔻 We therefore confirm that the recent Shevchenko occupied by Russian forces is not the one related to the lithium deposits [1]. We thank you for the report and apologise for the error.
