🇸🇾🔍 | Syrian Presidency Announces Establishment of Independent National Committee For Investigation of Mar. 6 Events

Syrian Presidency announced that it had established an independent national committee for investigating the events that occurred on March 6, 2025 along the Syrian coast.

The committee mandate is:
- To investigate the reasons, circumstances, and factors that led to the events.
- To investigate civilian violations and determine who is to blame.
- Investigating attacks on public facilities, security and military personnel, and identifying the perpetrators.

The committee must provide a report of its conclusions to the Republic Presidency within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution. This decree was issued by Ahmad Al-Sharaa', Syrian Arab Republic President, on grounds of national security and to promote civil peace and seek the truth.
