One of the AlQassam Brigades personnel approached the tank, opened rifle fire on the head of the tank commander peeking outside the commander hatch, and then lodged an IED into the hatch, destroying the tank catastrophically and killing all crewmembers.

A soldier of the "933rd (Nahal)" Brigades "50th (Bazelet)" Battalion was also wounded during the event, likely during a fire fight.

🇺🇸❌🇲🇽 DEA arrests 171 suspected members of Sinaloa Cartel in New England

Federal authorities arrested 171 suspected members of the Sinaloa drug cartel in New England, including 49 in Massachusetts, and seized drugs, guns, and cash as part of a recent sweep against one of the world’s most formidable criminal organizations, according to a Drug Enforcement Administration official.

Jarod Forget, the DEA special agent in charge for the agency’s New England division, described the Sinaloa cartel as “by far the most dominant drug cartel throughout New England” and is largely responsible for the distribution of fentanyl and other dangerous drugs in the region.

“Essentially anytime we come across fentanyl, methamphetamine, those drugs that are killing most Americans today, more than likely, is coming from that cartel,” Forget said in an interview Thursday.

Authorities also seized about 540 pounds of drugs along with more than 22,000 counterfeit pills, 33 guns, and more than $1.3 million in currency, according to the DEA.

Forget said the fake pills produced by the cartel are marketed online as legitimate prenoscription drugs. Amid a rise in ADHD prenoscriptions in the US, Forget said, more people are seeking Adderall pills online.

“The days of needing to go in some dark alleyway somewhere to buy drugs ... those days are over,” he said. “You can buy, pay for, communicate and coordinate delivery all with a couple taps on your phone.”
