The image appeared months ago on Twitter under the name 'Abu Bayda' (Father of Eggs), and is part of a meme among the Muslim Twitter community; in reality it is an AI-manipulated image of a man who goes by the name of 'Raw Egg Nationalist'. According to the meme, Abu Bayda arrived to Germany from Algeria by way of an olive barrel.

This is NOT satire. The image is completely fake and part of a meme, yet dozens of news outlets published it without fact-checking.
