I think byler is definitely endgame in some way but El won't die, but probably moves away with kali cause she doesn't really belong in real world with the party. I think cause she represents mike and will's love in the subtext it wouldn't make sense to kill her off. And I know what i said sounds confusing but this (veryyy long) article i found explained it very well I definitely recommend you to read it when you have time. it changes your whole perspective not only on st but other movies and shows as well and this person who wrote this is really intelligent and educated (they are skeptical on whether they will explicitly show byler endgame or it will be just a part of subtext tho, but based on what we've seen this season I think they're gonna bring subtext to text.)

درواقع میاد دنیای واقعی و طمع زندگی عادی رو میچشه و دوست پیدا میکنه عاشق میشه etc

و ویلن های داستان دنبالش میکنن و اونام میان توی دنیای واقعی و دراخر مجبور میشن مبارزه کنن که خب ویلنه شکست میخوره

و قهرمانه یا میمیره یا قدرتشو از دست میده

Yeah and I think mileven's rooftop conversation foreshadows this. When they’re talking about their future after they win he says "if vecna's gone then what's stopping us?", writers only write this type of dialogues to prove the opposite, to contradict them. No like I'm %70 sure thay gonna make it endgame but I think it's not going to be what people hope it will be. Like it's going to be something deep and unclear like if we pay attention and locked in we're gonna be like waitttt a second are thay dating now , like sth like this idk.
I don't think we're going to have an ideal endgame couple situation..
