I think byler is definitely endgame in some way but El won't die, but probably moves away with kali cause she doesn't really belong in real world with the party. I think cause she represents mike and will's love in the subtext it wouldn't make sense to kill her off. And I know what i said sounds confusing but this (veryyy long) article i found explained it very well I definitely recommend you to read it when you have time. it changes your whole perspective not only on st but other movies and shows as well and this person who wrote this is really intelligent and educated (they are skeptical on whether they will explicitly show byler endgame or it will be just a part of subtext tho, but based on what we've seen this season I think they're gonna bring subtext to text.)

و ویلن های داستان دنبالش میکنن و اونام میان توی دنیای واقعی و دراخر مجبور میشن مبارزه کنن که خب ویلنه شکست میخوره

I mean as a writer if that's your endgame ship this would be the perfect time to build some angst for Mike alongside with his family being obliterated but we barely see any emotional reaction from him to anything honestly. they're totally hiding his pov from us and there's a reason for that
