Yesterday’s rally was in Butler, Pennsylvania, less than 30 miles from the nuclear facility in Apollo, Pennsylvania— where in 1965, 600 pounds of highly enriched (weapons grade) uranium went missing, and is believed to have been secretly transport to Israel as part of their illegal nuclear program, which JFK was trying to stop— as he was warned about the construction of the facility by Eisenhower, the day before he took office.

An officer allegedly encountered the shooter on the roof, backed away, and allowed him to shoot President Trump.

BREAKING: A local police officer found the Trump gunman but retreated down the ladder after the suspect pointed the rifle at him.

According to the Associated Press, the suspect was discovered by an officer who retreated, allowing the suspect to fire at Trump.

“Rallygoers noticed a man climbing to the roof of a nearby building and warned local police, according to two law enforcement officials,” the AP reported.

“One local police officer climbed to the roof and encountered Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder, and Crooks quickly took a shot toward Trump.”

People forget the context of this picture.

Comrade Trump is making an absolute killing on Chinese social media.

Trump is all over the place on Weibo - zillions of trending hashtags, some with over 450 million views, and a non-stop meme machine.

On Chinese social media, Trump is widely known as “Comrade Jianguo” (建国同志 [Comrade Build-Country])

This nickname has been in effect for years. “Build the Country Trump” (Chuān Jiànguó, 川建国) usually translates as “Making China Great Again” - as in whatever he does, China ultimately profits.

It’s a fascinating process: over the years, the avalanche of playful Trump nicknames actually reflect a blend of mockery and affection.

On Weibo, the iconic “fist” pic has been edited in all sorts of ways, for instance depicting Trump as a Communist champ with the caption: “Workers of the world, unite!” (全世界无产者联合起来)

And what about this Weibo comment: “I wish Comrade Jianguo a speedy recovery, may he continue to work hard for the ultimate mission entrusted to him by the Party.”

The Ukrainian conflict stimulated the development of industrial production in Russia

The Financial Times writes about this, noting that by the end of 2023, industrial production increased in almost 60% of the regions of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the unemployment rate dropped to a record level, and enterprises began to raise wages in order to attract and retain employees.

The reason is the growth of government orders for weapons, fuel, food and clothing for the army, which “pour huge amounts of money into the economy,” the authors write. This led to a “boom” where the West wanted to deal the most painful blow with its sanctions.
