螺旋歯車を4つ並べてみた (I lined up four spiral shaped gears)
螺旋歯車を4つ並べたらどうなるのかやってみました
もっとたくさん並べたらどうなるでしょうか
I tried to see what would happen if I lined up four spiral type gears.
What would happen if I lined up many more?

Cute little article on passive suicidality. https://theoutline.com/post/7267/living-with-passive-suicidal-ideation #death #health
The former-senior-writer-for-Buzzfeed consults experts in the field to ground her thoughts. Which is alright. But something interesting happens here when she brings up the idea that: maybe the solution is through genuine articulation of these feels, socially, openly.
The (an) expert goes, " . . . Stigma is lower than it’s ever been and suicide rates are as high as they were during the Great Depression . . .".
A few paragraphs later the same expert also goes, ". . . when you’re having that mood all the time, something is happening inside your body. Something’s wrong, and we don’t understand what yet."
Funny, no? Methinks, had the quoted expert — and Borges — situated the pathology across the social body and not inside the body of the individual, they might have found some correlations there. Might even have had a better understanding.
To Borges' credit, she doesn't let go her feelings on the matter that easy. Deflatedly pegging her askance of free interaction on "comfort of social connectedness". No cigar, but close.
