This maxim Trump that Trump is envoking isn't new. At it's core it's long been accepted that when threatened, societal preservation overrides all else.

Logically speaking, this absolutely computes because you have no law if the nation that harbors it is lost.

You'd have to be an idiot to argue otherwise.

In short, it's often said that desperate times call for desperate measures. And these are most certainly desperate times.
