⚡️Davos World Economic Forum Postponed over Omicron
World leaders, billionaires and executives will not be descending on the Swiss resort town of Davos this coming January.
The World Economic Forum said in a release that pandemic conditions had made it “extremely difficult” to stage a global in-person meeting next month, adding that the omicron Covid variant and travel restrictions made the deferral necessary.
The event aimed at tackling “economic, environmental, political and social fault-lines exacerbated by the pandemic will now be moved to early summer.

Log4j cyberattack strikes Belgian Defense Ministry
State-sponsored hacking groups with links to China, Iran, North Korea and Turkey have targeted Belgium’s Ministry of Defense by exploiting a Log4j vulnerability that was discovered earlier this month.
Ministry officials only became aware of the hack last Thursday but didn’t confirm which data had been stolen or used. The glitch is the same that has affected Big Tech giants Amazon and Microsoft.
