Log4j cyberattack strikes Belgian Defense Ministry
State-sponsored hacking groups with links to China, Iran, North Korea and Turkey have targeted Belgium’s Ministry of Defense by exploiting a Log4j vulnerability that was discovered earlier this month.
Ministry officials only became aware of the hack last Thursday but didn’t confirm which data had been stolen or used. The glitch is the same that has affected Big Tech giants Amazon and Microsoft.

Crowds have gathered in Turkey’s largest cities to protest rising poverty, as the nation’s currency continued to depreciate against the dollar.
Turkey's stock exchange has now halted trading - normal practice for any exchange when rates plummet, a risk trader informed RT.
The demonstrations were held in the capital Ankara and Istanbul. They were partially organized by Turkey’s trade union federation KESK, as well as several political parties, including the Communist Party of Turkey.
