Global Recession Risk Warning Issued
Deutsche Bank CEO Christian Sewing said last week the global economy may be headed for a recession as central banks scramble to combat inflation.
“At least I would say we have 50% likelihood of a recession globally,” Sewing said at the Future of Finance Summit in Frankfurt, as quoted by Bloomberg.
According to the top banker, the chances of a recession hitting the US and Europe in the second half of 2023 are higher than the bank’s previous forecasts before the start of the war in Ukraine.

Mixed feelings on this, as I believe doctors too easily prescribe opioids now a days, but.. I believe this is the right decision. Intent is important, and by Law, for conviction, it must be proven without a reasonable doubt the docs were knowingly acting in an unauthorized manner while acting in good faith of the patients.
I see people upset with this ruling, saying that this decision only promotes doctors prescribing opioids— but, This ruling has nothing to do with supporting opioids and everything to do with the rule of law, as it stands today. Read the opinion.
