#SCOTUS UPDATE
Mixed feelings on this, as I believe doctors too easily prescribe opioids now a days, but.. I believe this is the right decision. Intent is important, and by Law, for conviction, it must be proven without a reasonable doubt the docs were knowingly acting in an unauthorized manner while acting in good faith of the patients.
I see people upset with this ruling, saying that this decision only promotes doctors prescribing opioids— but, This ruling has nothing to do with supporting opioids and everything to do with the rule of law, as it stands today. Read the opinion.
____________
SCOTUS sides with two doctors who challenged their convictions for unlawfully prescribing opioids.
Here is the opinion from Stephen Breyer in Ruan v. United States: https://supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf/20-1410_1an2.pdf…. The vote 9-0.
**Good Point Fam
If docs can now prescribe medication in good faith against the establishment’s restrictions………Hello Ivermectin and many other banned treatments. HOLY SMOKES!!

A Big Win for #NewYork #Elections
Judge Strikes Down Non-Citizen Voting in New York City Elections
In a nutshell… no illegals can vote.
New York Judge Ralph Porzio ruled on Monday that New York City's extension of voting rights to non-U.S. citizens violated the New York Constitution, the state's election law, and the Municipal Home Rule Law — rendering another Democrat attempt to undermine elections illegal, null, and void.
Ralph Porzio (Republican Party) is a judge of the New York Supreme Court 13th Judicial District. He assumed office in 2019.
Coincidence all these wins come from the Donald Trump era while in office?
:)

Cyber Attack SHUTS Iranian Steel Plant
Iran’s state-owned giant Khuzestan Steel was hit by one of the industry’s largest cyberattacks of recent times which forced it to shut down production until further notice.
CEO Amin Ebrahimi played down the attack claiming it had been “unsuccessful” and hoped the website and operations would back up and running by the end of Monday.
According to local news agency Jamaran, the attack failed because the factory was not operational at the time due to a power outage, but follows attacks on gas stations, trains, surveillance networks and state-run websites in the last year.

Supreme Court uses 'shadow docket' to revive Trump EPA clean water rule
In a 5-4 split, the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday temporarily revived a Trump-era rule intended to fast-track big energy projects by limiting the states' power to curtail them under the Clean Water Act.
