Responding to @thirty_silver_pieces' Post regarding /GBG/'s opinion on immigration to Poland through Belarus, the idea is that the current situation will never end, no matter how much the borders get reinforced, there will always be a large number of people from third world countries who will try to cross the borders and move to Europe since the benefits far outweigh the risks so unless the EU border countries end the welfare system and demand Western Europe to also stop taking in more "refugees" and adopt parameters that would prevent people who crossed several countries from claiming Asylum in Europe instead of claiming asylum in their neighboring countries, the burden will only increase for EU-Border Countries who are being used as cannon fodders by Western Europe

The situation will eventually become unsustainable and countries such as Greece, Poland, Italy, Hungary and so many others wont be able to deal with the ever increasing number of illegal immigrants and prevent them from going to Western Europe. A good point to be made is also that Germany despite having proposed the "refugee quotas" after their attempt to get cheap labor failed, is failing to meet its own refugee quotas while also trying to keep these "refugees" in other European countries instead of Germany while the bordering states are forced to receive a lot more of them

Italy for example has received twice as many illegal immigrants in 2021 than it did in the same time period in 2020 and SEVEN times more than it did in 2019 according to official data. Italy also made several requests to the EU for the "redistribution" of such illegal immigrants as it had been proposed by the EU itself, but none of their previous 9 requests were even discussed by the EU or even individual countries such as Germany or France that usually talk about diversity and accepting more illegals as a "responsibility"

The organized mobilization of illegal immigrants and their transport to bordering areas by Poland, Greece, Italy or others would certainly be met with sanctions and threats, although, informal and off-the-record orders to not stop these illegals would prove to be more effective once they would waste no time requesting asylum in Poland, if they knew they could reach Germany in a few days and claim Asylum there or somewhere else

Sadly, it is not likely that any of these countries will do any of that and still wont get the assistance they need from the EU regardless of how well they do what they are expected to

The elites in Germany, Brussels, France or most countries who have large influence over the EU never had any problem with immigrants, their problem is with the fact that as things deteriorate, more people are starting to become nationalist and anti-immigration, things that barely existed in Europe prior to 2015, so if the situation deteriorates slowly, the population wont react as it should, but a large wave of immigrants would make the right wing surge once again across Europe as it did after 2015 and THAT is precisely what the elites fear because not only politicians will lose their seats but NGOs and most of the leftist infrastructure would be targeted and they would lose their money laundering schemes

The passivity and conformism of Europeans after decades of nearly Utopic living conditions make them prone to being afraid of strongly opposing things as it is seen as a bad thing. Politeness and being politically correct are handcuffs that most people willingly use on themselves, UNLESS something directly affects their routines, which is what changed in 2015, many people saw themselves directly affected by things such as crimes, lack of safety and the government's act, and when people feel that their routines were disrupted or their private lives are affected, be that physically or financially, that seems to be the only moment when they revolt against the system. Selfishness and the division caused by relativization led people to not care when something happens to their compatriots and only revolt when it affects them
