An initiation rite helps. RAM didn’t have one, but when I ran a street crew in NYC, we did.

Create a real challenge physical, or activism-based for new recruits ( spar the rest of the club, ruck a mountain, post 100 stickers etc ). Then a welcoming ceremony: a W2R shirt, a patch, the XIV tattoo , something earned.

(But don’t get too serious if there’s only 2 or 3 of you. Wait till you’ve got a core.) -Rundo
