The Campaign for the 12th anniversary of Ingress is now visible in the Dispatch screen! It also shows what seems to be the design of a 12 sided dice which could possibly the basic design of the 12 anniversary badge, however this is not confirmed.

Niantic has updated its support article about Supported devices to also include in which languages Ingress is officially available. This confirms that the recent removal of some languages from the game like Polish was intended and that they will not be supported going forward.

Agents, with Second Sunday approaching this weekend, the NIA is looking to clarify language related to the Scout Controller option of the Assignment.

Similar to Missions and Visits, Scout Controller must also be claimed on all time uniques.

Additionally, with Second Sunday now using the Dispatch feature, the NIA would like to remind Agents that they must CLAIM a task to earn their Second Sunday credit. It no longer awards automatically as it did previously.

The 12th anniversary celebrations have started and the boni are now active!

Niantic has revealed the badge design for the Christopher Brandt 2024 medal!

We have recieved word from Niantic that the special Shard event next month will not award the Erased Memories Anomaly medal as the event itself is not related to the Anomaly at all. Other new medals will also not be part of the event. The post on @IUENG has been edited to reflect as such.

Friendly reminder to get new kcaps running and drones moved about before bonuses are reverted and we go back to 8km kcaps and 60m drone cooldown.

Thanks to your reports, Agents, the NIA was able to identify a glitch in the matrix and are re-issuing Y12 medals. We will report back shortly.

The IUENG - Extra! channel has been around for a while now and has been a good and more casual alternative to the main @IUENG channel with posting news as soon as they happen or forwarding import posts from elsewhere without worrying about writing up an entire post first!

Users are reporting that their codes have been sent where they qualify for them in both Pokémon GO & Ingress.

There’s an important note about OPR Live as well.

Please note: Explorers who reached Tier 3: this passcode INCLUDES your OPR Live badge tick. When you redeem your code, the confirmation code will only show items granted; however you will see the OPR Live Badge tick assigned to you in your MONTHLY stats tab before December 20.

As of writing this post, rewards for the Edit Wayfarer Challenge are still being distributed, with Ingress-only players waiting for their mail. If you haven't received your mail yet, no sweat, Niantic gave themselves until the end of the week.
