In addition to being renamed to Dispatch, the Bounties themselves now seem to be called Assignments. It also appears that there is or there will be some way to skip assignments, although it isn't clear how.

Another small change for the Dispatch feature: The "Earn X Glyph Points" task was renamed to "Earn X Glyph Hack Points" which potentially helps avoiding confusion over where the Glyph points can be acquired (that is, via hacking).
It is interesting to see that the Bounties/Dispatch feature has seemingly gotten some attention with this update, which may hint at additional, not yet seen functionally for it.

Brazil is getting a Foursquare import for new Wayspots!
Reports have been received that Niantic has imported new Wayspots from the Foursquare network into the Lightship databank. While these will make it to Pokemon Go, it is unknown and probably unlikely that new Portals will be created from these in Ingress, like the import in India last year.
No official announcement from Niantic has been made yet.

Niantic has deleted two old server branches that were hosted on Google Cloud Storage. Unfortunatly, included in these server branches was data for a lot of Media which are now unusable and have no Media Image or Media Content anymore.

The Operation “Pursue. Human. Potential | Evolution. Unbound” has been running for a few days now and Glyph hunters have observed that a lot of sequences and glyphs that haven't been seen in a long time have returned into the network. The only new sequence discovered so far is, unsurprisingly, "Pursue Human Potential Evolution Unbounded".

Some small changes which were not mentioned in the Update notes:
- Apex, Frackers and Beacons now show their respective icon for the Boost category if they are the first item in that category. Before, it was a generic "Boost" icon which can still be seen in the store for the "Temporary Boosts" section. It is currently unknown if Fireworks and Battle Beacons also have a custom icon as both are technically Beacons in the code
- The notification for when you complete a Bounty has been updated to include a note that it is [DAILY] on the map screen. It stands to reason that tasks from the Campaign category will be marked with [CAMPAIGN] or similar to distinguish between them.
- When you complete your 2nd or 4th daily Bounty, the AP reward will now automatically Resync and update to be claimed. Beforehand, Agents often had to press the Resync button as the Scanner didn't realize that the tasks have been completed
