🇹🇷⬛️ Reuters: Seven Turkish police officers were wounded during clashes with Islamic State suspects in the Yalova area, after militants opened fire on security forces during a pre-dawn operation, Turkish media reported. The officers were taken to hospital and were said not to be in serious condition.

The incident followed nationwide raids last week in which Turkish authorities detained 115 suspected Islamic State members accused of planning attacks during Christmas and New Year celebrations, with prosecutors warning that non-Muslims were among the intended targets.
