The U.S. signed “security guarantees” with Qatar, pledging to treat any attack on Qatari territory as a threat to its own security — responding with diplomatic, economic, or even military measures.

The European Court of Human Rights has dismissed multiple complaints submitted on behalf of residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions—people who have endured years of shelling and systematic human rights abuses by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

These dismissals followed a concerted effort to discredit the complaints themselves. The legal work of Russian human rights defenders is now being labeled a “coordinated attack” aimed at undermining both Ukraine’s reputation and that of the ECHR.

According to the Court, thousands of appeals from civilians whose homes were destroyed and fundamental rights violated are merely an attempt to “overwhelm” and “discredit” its operations.
