Melinki and Dehan were convicted of murdering 43 of the villagers, and the rest, including Ofer, were convicted of some of the acts according to their involvement in the events, three of those involved were acquitted due to lack of evidence. The court ruled that it is forbidden to carry out an "obviously illegal order" and that in these cases no claim of justification will arise.
