🚨 Under 16 Social Media Ban – What You Need to Know 🚨
Now that the Mis/Disinformation Bill is behind us, a new Bill is being proposed to "protect our kids." But is it really about protection—or something bigger? This legislation could require ALL Australians over 16 to use a Digital ID to access social media and online platforms, raising serious concerns about privacy and over-regulation.

Following Port Hedland's motion, Cr Pizzey has raised a motion to:
1 ADVOCATE for the establishment of a Royal Commission into Australia’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the purpose of restoring public trust in the three tiers of government, through an independent and comprehensive inquiry.
2 REQUESTS the Chief Executive Officer, on behalf of the City of Joondalup, to write letters to the Governor General and all Federal Members of Parliament requesting their support for the establishment of a Royal Commission into the Federal, State and Local Governments response to the COVID pandemic.
We are forming groups by wards to ensure councillors that are sitting on the fence (or even on the other side of the fence) know how the community feels about this Motion.
Our goal is to try to open as many councillors eyes as possible before voting occurs on Dec 10th.
