La Brea: Undercover 🐷 ‘s following a protest. They plan to hold the grove and farmers market with “zero tolerance for vandalism”
Westmont: LASD has taped off the intersection at 109th and Budlong as a crowd gathers. Reports indicate there was an LASD involved shooting at the site earlier tonight. This intersection was the site of an LASD shooting that killed a man as recently as May.
Westmont: At least 15 deputies and 3 LASD SUVs can be seen on the scene
Westmont: Melina Abdullah on live stream calls for people to go to 109th and Budlong. What we know so far is an man in his 30s was killed by LASD and his body remained in the street for hours.
Westmont: Crowd has grown to over 50 people. The LASD has directed a large bright light at the crowd, interfering with any videos of what’s happening behind the police tape

Westmont: One local news source reports that Dijon was stopped while riding a bike for “code violations”
Westmont: There are reports that LASD shot 27 times
Westmont: Reports that Dijon Kizzee’s body is still in the street, more than 6 hours have passed since he was killed by Sheriff’s Deputies
Westmont: Reports that LASD is blocking area between 110th & 109th and between Vermont & Normandie, enclosing protestors

Downtown: A coalition of organizers has gathered at Stanley Mosk Court on Hill St, protesting the lack of protections given to tenants in our city from landlords, cops, and evictions. The crowd has grown to 150 people.
Downtown: The large crowd has blocked Hill and are blocking the entrance to the courthouse
Downtown: Crowd of 100-150 gathered for Jackie Lacey must go protest at the Hall of Justice. Melina Abdullah is currently speaking to the crowd.
RIGHT NOW: Saturday night BLM LA led a protest against the LASD at Imperial for justice for Dijon Kizzee. The protestors were met with violence by the sheriffs including the pepper spraying of a young child. Sunday night protestors returned. Quickly the LASD called an unlawful assembly and threw flash bangs, pepper balls, rubber bullets, and tear gas at the small crowd. Multiple people were arrested and held throughout the night and day. As of right now, the LASD have 100 officers to control a crowd of around 30. The LASD has blocked Normandie and Vermont.
Deputies are armed with non-lethal bullets, guns drawn outfitted in riot gear and shields.
