“admonish them” means: explain the ruling of Allāh with regard to obeying and disobeying the husband, and encourage her to be obedient, and warn her against disobedience. If that produces the desired results, all well and good, otherwise the husband should refuse to share her bed, by not sleeping with her or being intimate with her, to whatever extent will produce the desired result. Otherwise he may hit her in a way that is not severe and that does not cause injury. If one of these methods produces the desired result, then

فَلَا تَبْغُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلًا “seek not against them means (of annoyance)” i.e., you have got what you wanted, so stop pursuing rebuking her for what is past and seeking out faults mention of which will cause harm and provoke evil. [Tafseer al-Sa’di]

Here, we see Erich Hagelstein (aka Charles Mountmaggot IV) admitting to the fact that Suleiman Anwar in fact sought judgement to change his name legally - performed Tahakum to the Taghut for no reason, as well as allegedly “Making Tawbah,” from seeking Tahakum to the Taghut for petty civil matters for all those years. Keep in mind his most recent case ended in 2018. He’s been advertising himself as an Imam of 30+ years, during the time of committing all these actions of clear Kufr.

Not to mention him snitching against a brother to the FBI for being an “extremist,” as well as testifying against a believer in front of the courts of the Tawagheet. Or his recent action of mailing a letter to an employer of a brother who aided in his exposure, claiming he was a “student of a radical Islamic preacher” (calling The Tawheed he claims to follow as radical, is Kufr). These are all actions of Kufr and Riddah, and to add onto that, he’s persisted on his claim that he’s a person of knowledge.

Given his false claim, as well as the way he presented himself as someone of Islamic knowledge, it is therefore obligatory that this “Tawbah” that he has allegedly done, be PUBLIC, along with making things right.

Al-Baqarah 2:160

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصۡلَحُواْ وَبَيَّنُواْ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيۡهِمْۚ وَأَنَا ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

His alleged Tawbah isn’t accepted by Allah, unless those three conditions are met: 1)Tawbah, 2)Made things right, and 3)Make apparent their error.

So, when brothers asked him to return the money he took as donations and apologize, and make a public declaration admitting and declaring the error of his past - this is inline with the Qur’an and Sunnah…not “extortion” as this delusional احمق tried to make it.

How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him.

We accept and are pleased with the Qadr of Allah. We ask Allah to make us of the sincere, and place Barakah in our Da’wah.

A Message to the Influencers

The Niqāb I cling to with my life, that I’ve been mocked, harassed, filmed, photographed, verbally abused, alienated, and backbit because of, is not an aesthetic for your social media, nor is it your little mask for anonymity.

It’s not for you to wear with flower crowns on your head and twirl around in. It’s not for you to use to sexualize and bring attention your eyes with. It’s not for you to attract an audience with. It’s not a part time replacement for a COVID mask. It’s not an exotic outfit accessory.

It’s an act of worship. It’s an identity to be recognized as a free, Muslim woman. It’s an emulation of my beloved mothers, the wives of my beloved Messenger ﷺ. It’s a protection from the gazes of the wolves of mankind. It is my heart and soul. My armor. My protection. My identity.

My heart writhes in pain at seeing how it has been misused to the point that its no longer serves any connection towards piety and concealment. My tongue doesn’t have the words to express my grief and anger.

For some sisters around the world, Niqāb is a matter of Deen and of life and death, and death is preferable to them than being exposed. And for others, Niqāb is a cute social media prop and an exotic way to stay anonymous online.
