Torture by Maldivian Police to a Maldivian Family in Afghanistan Prison (as related by a family member on a talk show on twitter space):
◾️Ali Shafiu H. Moonlight Villa, Male' was arrested along with his wife and 4 children (all under the age of 10)
◾️The family says wife was four months pregnant, when the Afghan police tortured her resulting in her miscarriage.
◾️Even after she had miscarried, she was denied any medical attention and was made to suffer for many days with her dead foetus still inside her.
◾️Under the orders of Maldivian Police, a forced statement against Ali Shafiu was taken from the wife and kids at gun point
◾️Ali Shafiu was electrocuted, tortured, stripped, and left in snow until he passes out
◾️The family is denied any medical attention, they are severely malnourished and underweight; the wife does not even weigh 35 kg now
◾️The relatives in Maldives have been trying to get the kids into safety. They have been begging for help from the Maldivian government, yet no help has been provided so far.
These are just the highlights and only a little of what the family has been going through for approximately 3 years.

Bismillaah.
Brothers and sisters as many of you are probably already aware, the kuffar are now already in the process to deport our honourable sisters back to their countries where (depending on their country) they’ll most likely face life sentences and be separated from their families and kids. For the ones that we’re still able to gather money for and help with their releases (in sha Allaah), we should put all of our efforts towards this goal, to help as many sisters as we possibly can.
A lot of us today talk about on-going charity and the main things that pop up in our minds are things like giving the copy of the Quraan to someone, buying Quraan for the masjid, helping to build a masjid, etc… These are all great opportunities of on-going charities no doubt, but helping prisoners, orphans, wives of shuhadah, wives of prisoners, etc… is more of an obligation on us, more rewarding, and should supersede the other opportunities! Every single person reading this can contribute in some way or another.

If you're a foreign tourist, you have ease of access for travel and tourism. But you're not allowed for hajj. Covįd safety concerns reaches its peak when it comes to making a pilgrimage only. In other cases, you can certainly come to party, have fun and you're obviously less at risk of catching the virus.

Ali Shafiu was tortured in notorious bagram jail, Afghanistan including; being electrocuted till he passes out [in his urine], his nails pulled out, stripped and put in a steel cage and left in snow till he loses consciousness.
His whole trip abroad was to have a surgery for a brain tumor, and during torture, he was specifically targeted on his head where he had his surgery done.
As as we speak, he's being tortured even now. He's been threatened that his wife and children will be killed too.

A bit on how his wife was tortured:
She's an adult and her weight is no more than 35kg.
She was 4 months pregnant when they were arrested, she was badly tortured infront of her 4 children till miscarried.
She was left for two months with the dead foetus inside her womb.
Till date, no medical attention has been provided.
She had a gun pointed at her (infront of her kids) and was threatened to confess that her husband is a terrorist or that they would be killed.
She is constantly threatened that her children will be killed too.
They are kept with all sorts of criminals, that she needs to be always on alert regarding herself and the safety of her small children.

Remember our brother Youssif (IG: @grandsonsofthesahabah) in your ad’iyah along with all the muwahhidīn. They can put our people behind bars but they cannot erase the words of Allaah which are upon the tongues of the muslimīn and remains embedded in the hearts.
(وَإِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِيُثْبِتُوكَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوكَ أَوْ يُخْرِجُوكَ ۚ وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَ)
"And (remember) when the disbelievers plotted against you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to imprison you, or to kill you, or to get you out (from your home, i.e. Makkah); they were plotting and Allâh too was plotting; and Allâh is the Best of those who plot."

When striving to bring victory to the Deen of Allah and making His word the highest, we should bear patiently any harm that may afflict us personally. We live for a purpose greater than our families and ourselves. We should act with Hikmah, no doubt, but as they continue to criminalize every aspect of our religion, do we follow along and abandon it too? Never, by Allah!

🍃 many stories of brothers and sisters you will find that they were very young in age, the youth of our ummah who chose the life of honor despite the thorns on its path and without hesitation they threw away the life of humiliation despite its comforts and luxuries that lures one towards it.
Young men and young women who stepped forward and sold this world for Paradise.. who sacrificed all that which is valuable and their nufūs (souls).. and the most beautiful part of it, is that usually as you grow older your fear of poverty & fear over your safety and life tends to increase except for those who Allah Protects, and usually it is the youth who just don't care about any of it and don't think twice about doing things that would threaten them in either of these aspects. Their tawakkul is so strong and fresh, their azm (determination) is like steel and their footsteps are light like feathers. They run towards the finish line despite the obstacles and they carry the banner and strive for their Lord without worry.
