In the past few months the American embassy in Lebanon has been paying $100,000-250,000 to all relatives of those affected by the US embassy attacks that took place in 1980's in Lebanon.

At least a couple million dollars were paid in my village in south Lebanon alone.

A minor correction to the above:

Instead of dozens of impacts it's hundreds of impacts.

As of the second day of the Battle:

"Slowly I began to hate them...."

Iranian authorities ignore the situation of Iranians living in Lebanon.

The cost of issuing a passport stayed constant at 110 euros, exceeding the monthly income of most people in Lebanon.

A motion on the illegal annexation of Palestine by "Israel" passed in the Irish Parliament today. The motion was presented by Sinn Féin, all parties supported.

Ireland is the first country in Europe to label Israel’s illegal settlements and land grab as a de facto annexation of Palestinian land.

Sadly the motion to expel the Israeli ambassador and impose sanctions was defeated.

Sinn Féin leader, Mary Lou McDonald:

"Israel is a serial violator of international law". This motion is "the most explicit and united call from this parliament against annexation". The gov't must "hold Israel to account".

Mary Lou McDonald (25 May):

"To suggest that Israel is simply defending itself is an obscenity."

01:37 "We need the state of Israel to be FINALLY called out for what it is: a racist apartheid regime."
