Usually, the IDF or police would shoot to kill the stabbers, but not when it's an Israeli.

🇮🇱 Censorship: Earlier today, a mob of Israelis critically stabbed a Palestinian in Jerusalem. The Israeli police asked a court to force hide the news. The court complied and issued a gag order, prohibiting anyone from reporting about the incident. Israelis…

The Lebanese army continued its campaign to crack down on illegal fuel hoarding, and have recently confiscated 100,000 L of diesel from underground infrastructure in Zgharta, 21,000 L of diesel from Sidon, and 150,000 L of gasoline in an abandoned gas station in Al Barbara, Jbeil
⋯ The 150,000 L of gasoline were found at Sakr petrol station. The petrol station is owned by a leader in the Lebanese Forces party, Ibrahim Sakr.
This would be the second large batch of confiscated gasoline from his property, after the 200,000 L found in Beqaa.

Negotiations for new cabinet:
During the past up to early this week, the general atmosphere between Aoun and Mikati was positive with indicators that a government formation is imminent. However, unexpectedly, Mikati announced that he "senses" Aoun got 2/3 of the ministers.
Aoun countered by saying he did not change any names or portfolios, claiming it was Mikati who has changed the names of several Christian ministers that were supposed to represent President Aoun.
This effectively obstructed the efforts to form a government this week.

US Ambassador Dorothy Shea, after a phone call with President Michel Aoun:
"The USA will allow the transfer of Egyptian gas through Jordan and Syria to northern Lebanon."
"Negotiations are underway with the World Bank to secure financing for the Egyptian gas, repairs and strengthening the electricity transmission lines, and the required maintenance of gas pipelines."

⋯ Two important points:
1- Egypt buys Israeli gas.
2- USA, Egypt, and Jordan have not normalized their relationship with Syria yet. Joint projects of this magnitude will never materialize before a regional deal with Syria.

⋯ One a side note, Jordan is among the most dependent in the world on foreign energy sources, with 93% of the country's energy needs coming from imported oil and natural gas from neighboring Middle Eastern countries.
As of 2020, Jordan started to import Israeli gas to generate electricity in 10's of billion worth of natural gas purchase.

Jordan gets first natural gas supplies from Israel
Texas-based Noble Energy has begun pumping the first supplies of Israeli gas to Jordan, Jordan's National Electricity Company (NEPCO) said on Wednesday, amid opposition in the Middle Eastern kingdom.
⋯ The biggest issue with Jordan's electricity offer, besides the issue of using Israeli gas, is to keep Lebanon dependent on foreign electricity grids, instead of having a sovereign one.
Currently, Lebanon buys Syrian electricity and rents 1-2 Turkish ships for electricity generation. Adding Jordan & Egypt will only increase Lebanon's dependency, while wasting the money to advance Lebanon's own grid.
The IMF loans should be used to achieve Lebanon's long-term goals, and not temporary solutions.
