A notable number of generator owners in different regions, including the south, refused to buy Iranian diesel at low price despite harsh rationing and buying expensive fuel from the black market.

This is because 1- They refuse what Hezbollah is asking them, such as to install meters that can be monitored to ensure that the entire amount of diesel is consumed in the operation of the generator and that it is not smuggled.

2- The generator owners are not satisfied with the new profit margins if they buy and operate with Iranian diesel.

The Army Command announces that Saadallah Al-Solh bought during the month of March of this year a quantity of ammonium nitrate from Maroun Al-Sakr, official in the Lebanese Forces party.

Investigations also revealed that the Syrians, Obeida Al-Abd Al-Rahman and Khaled Al-Hassan, were responsible for transporting the material.

The material was originally for Ibrahim Al-Sakr, who is currently in hiding after the fuel hoarding scandal.

In a display of USA's grip on the political life in Lebanon, Prime Minister Najib Mikati said:
