Jordan: Dozens of Jordanians staged a protest in front of the ministry of energy, coinciding with the five-year anniversary of signing the gas agreement with the Israeli occupation.

The agreement is to supply Jordan with about 45 billion cubic meters of gas, over a period of 15 years, starting from January 2020. This is despite Jordan having alternatives such as Egyptian, Iraqi and Algerian gas.

For Lebanon, it will be the gas used to generate electricity, that will be sold through Syria. Lebanon will be effectively using Israeli gas for electricity.

A notable number of generator owners in different regions, including the south, refused to buy Iranian diesel at low price despite harsh rationing and buying expensive fuel from the black market.

This is because 1- They refuse what Hezbollah is asking them, such as to install meters that can be monitored to ensure that the entire amount of diesel is consumed in the operation of the generator and that it is not smuggled.

2- The generator owners are not satisfied with the new profit margins if they buy and operate with Iranian diesel.

Nitrate found in Bednayel:

The Army Command announces that Saadallah Al-Solh bought during the month of March of this year a quantity of ammonium nitrate from Maroun Al-Sakr, official in the Lebanese Forces party.

Investigations also revealed that the Syrians, Obeida Al-Abd Al-Rahman and Khaled Al-Hassan, were responsible for transporting the material.

The material was originally for Ibrahim Al-Sakr, who is currently in hiding after the fuel hoarding scandal.

In a display of USA's grip on the political life in Lebanon, Prime Minister Najib Mikati said:

"I have absolutely no objection to visiting Syria or any other country as long as Lebanon is not subjected to any sanctions."
