In the last 48 hours, Syria sealed its border with Lebanon like never before. All prominent smuggler, including those working with high-ranking officials, were arrested. Some of the names are well-known for Syria researchers.

The deteriorating economical situation in Lebanon has nothing to do with smuggling goods or even dollars to Syria. It is related to fundamental flaws in the economical model of Lebanon where corruption only led to the fastening of the eminent collapse.

The Syrian currency survived 10 years of war, and recently only collapsed because Syrian, who have up to 50 billion dollars deposited in Lebanese banks, lost access to them. No dollars means no ability to purchase goods for Syria and deteriorating currency.

Hezbullah and Amal movement activists are deployed in several areas in Beirut to stop any provocative actions that can start from areas like Khandak Al Ghamik or from Ain Al Rimaneh, like earlier.

They have been doing so for sometime.
The Lebanese army intellegence arrested 4 Sudanese tonight trying to cross the border into occupied Palastine.

Earlier today, at dawn, they stopped 6 others.
The Iranian Mossad agent whose capture was announced last week has been identified by Hezbullah and not the IRGC in Syria. He was tracking Hezbullah and IRGC movements in the Syrian desert and other areas.

He was not part of the IRGC advisors or campaign in Syria.

His family left Iran before the revolution in 1979 and lived in Syria since then. When IRGC started their campaign in Syria he contacted them and offered working as a driver for the Iranians. That's how he gathered intel.

He was paid 5,000 USD monthly by the Mossad/CIA.
🇨🇳 According to Al Manar, a Chinese delegation visited Lebanon before the 17th of October and offered a 5 billion dollar loan with low interest.

The Chinese also offered construction project, however the Lebanese didn't give any information reply.

🇮🇷 This isn't the first time the Lebanese avoid giving a reply. An Iranain delegation last year also offered building tunnels and help solve the traffic issue in Lebanon but didn't get an answer

🇷🇺 Russia happens to have offered tanks and bullets, but Saad Al Hariri Refused them. Hariri wanted to give the bullets to the security forces, but the Russians insisted they go to the army.
MTV correspondent, citing a source in Washington, who is following up on the prisoner swap file: Lebanese Kassim Tajideen, who is imprisoned in the United States, will be released within a few weeks.


Note: His five years sentence was already going to end soon anyways. He is a Lebanese millionaire illegally kidnaped by the CIA in Morocco.
