🚨 According to the Lebanese MFA, the Kuwaiti MFA delivered Lebanon a paper with 12 demands to be accomplished before Lebanon can restore its ties with the Gulf monarchies.

One of the demands is to implement the UN Resolution 1559, which stipulates disarming Hezbullah.
Lebanese Interior Minister: "We have taken many measures to prevent any Arab opposition and offensive activities against the Gulf states."

Lebanon, unofficially, hosts Bahraini and Saudi opposition who were deported from their homeland.
I was today's old when I Iearned:

"Israeli submarine mistakenly striked a Lebanese refugee ship at the first Lebanon war in 1982, killing 25 people. It had been a military secret, but channel 10 won a lawsuit and was allowed to publish it in 2018."

🚨Saad Hariri just announced that he will not run for parliamentary elections, and that no candidates will be named by his party, Future Movement.
⋯ In simple terms, Hariri was ordered by KSA and UAE to step away from politics and stick to business.

Sunni votes to Saad Al-Hariri will now be directed to other notable Sunni political parties like Najib Mikati's.

A sizeable number will go to the Lebanese Forces.
