⋯ Hezi Semantov - Hebrew Channel 13

"The "routine firing of missiles and drones" from Yemen would be a severe blow to the UAE's economy, which depends on tourism and aviation in light of undoubted stability and security."
⋯ Yemen: The Al-Jawf's Chamber of Commerce argues that the video presented by the Emirati Minister of Defense is “misinformation”: the UAE “targeted an asphalt mixer belonging to a contracting company, for the businessman Jaber Al-Mayo. The bombing caused the death of 4 and the injury of 2.”

Earlier today, the UAE military had tweeted a video with the caption: “At 04:10 hrs Yemen time, an F-16 destroyed a ballistic missile launcher in Al-Jawf, immediately after it launched two ballistic missiles at Abu Dhabi.”

🚨Saad Hariri just announced that he will not run for parliamentary elections, and that no candidates will be named by his party, Future Movement.
⋯ In simple terms, Hariri was ordered by KSA and UAE to step away from politics and stick to business.

Sunni votes to Saad Al-Hariri will now be directed to other notable Sunni political parties like Najib Mikati's.

A sizeable number will go to the Lebanese Forces.

Jerusalem: A new episode of Israel's ongoing ethnic cleansing... Israeli occupation forces have forcibly emptied the home of the Karama family, in the neighborhood of Al-Tour (on the occupied East Jerusalem's Mount of Olives), ahead of its imminent demolition.…
Before and after (photo).

The house was demolished today. The Karama family said they never received a demolition order nor an eviction order, as the Israeli soldiers suddenly surrounded their home and demolished it.

Over 280 Palestinians in Jerusalem's Al-Tour neighborhood are threatened with forced displacement and house demolition, under the pretext of illegal building. It is part of the project of the ‘American Road’, one of Israel's largest project in the city aimed to confiscate 45 dunums of Al-Tour [45,000 m²]. At the same time, the occupation authorities have been building tens of thousands of housing units for Jews since the 1980s, approving yet again on 18 January 2022 a plan for 1,465 new units in East Jerusalem.

Electricity outage in the Ministry of Energy moments before signing two agreements to draw electricity from Jordan through Syria to Lebanon.

⋯ Honest question: Back before 2019, many areas in Beirut used to get 21/24 hours of electricity while Dahyeh, Tripoli, South, and Beqaa, used to get 12/24 at max.

Will the new imported electricity be distributed fairly?

⋯ The Lebanese Forces have opened many offices in new areas to attract votes and distribute free goods.
After focusing on their main Christian base, they are focusing on the Sunni population, in order to keep some seats they gained by support from Future Movement [FM].
Those seats are now vulnerable due to FM's decision not to be part of the elections.
