On this day on 8 March 1985, an Israeli proxy in Lebanon known as the “Front for the Liberation of Lebanon from Foreigners” (FLLF) worked with the CIA-trained-and-founded G2 branch and Kataeb/LF party to detonate a VIED (car bomb) against the visitors of a mosque in Beirut in an attempt to kill Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammed Fadlallah.
