⋯ The majority of the spies or those contacted by the Mossad were recruited after they applied for online jobs, due to the economic situation in Lebanon. They submitted their CVs through fake websites set by the Mossad.

Another case was an ex-Lebanese army officer that was dismissed from duty years ago due to spying for Israel. He was free out of prison, due to the lenient Lebanese laws. Mossad re-established contact with him and he was tasked with taking photos of buildings in Beirut and the South.

Another case was a pizza delivery driver and a sweets chef who were tasked with collecting information in Beirut's southern suburbs (Dahyeh).

Another serious case was the manager of an advertising company in Lebanon that sent virus-infested links (malware) to thousands of Lebanese during several years.

⋯ Another case was a mechanic recruited after applying for a trucker job. He was flown to Europe where he met Israeli Mossad officials.
