Turkish President: The earthquake death toll in Turkey has rose to 19,388 Syria: The earthquake death toll across Syria has risen to 3,597. Rescue teams are working on only 5% of the disaster area due to their sparse numbers and lack of spare equipment.
Members of the Lebanese Army's Engineering Regiment, the Red Cross, the Civil Defense, and the Beirut Fire Brigade returned to Lebanon today after completing the post-earthquake search and rescue oprations they were tasked with in Syria.

Hezbullah dispatches a first aid convoy of 23 trucks to Syria
Trucks loaded with foodstuffs and medical supplies were seen today departing Ashura Square in Hadath (Beirut's suburbs), bound for quake-hit Syria.
Youth movement Al-Mahdi Scouts, among other organizations, has participated in collecting the necessary resources. The head of Hezbullah's Executive Council, Sayyed Hashem Safieddin, stressed that Syria had always supported Lebanon and its Resistance, therefore aiding Syria to cope with the catastrophe is dutiful.
