Judge Imad Kabalan seized the passports of Lebanese Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, and put him under investigation.

Salameh begged the judiciary not to extradite him to France and put him on trial in Lebanon.

Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad al-Nakhala:

"If the latest battle had extended for longer, Hamas and all the factions including Hezbollah would have been part of it."

The UAE authorities released Lebanese detainee Hussein Ezzeddine.

Remaining inside the prison from the last batch:

- Mustafa Ezzedine

They were all kidnapped by the security services. All are innocent. One died under torture.

Security forces arrested a Syrian gang that sold fake work permits and residency to Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

FATF's addition of Lebanon to the ‘grey list’ would be a serious blow to the Lebanese banking sector. FATF advises governments to enforce restrictions. Such labeling may be politically motivated, as when FATF greylisted South Africa in February 2023 over ties with Russia, Sputnik then alleged.

A drone operated by Hezbullah's border intelligence units was shot down by Israeli soldiers near Zari't settlement on the Lebanese - Palestinian border.
