📹 39 Palestinian children and women are on their way to freedom from Israeli dungeons, back to their homes in Jerusalem and West Bank, after being released from Israeli prisons.

For 4 days in a row, Palestinians are expected to be released.

📃 Moments earlier, elderly Israeli women and some children alongside some foreign workers were released from their captivity in Gaza towards the settlements.

One of the released captives was announced by PIJ (Islamic Jihad) as dead several days ago.

Ayloul, a young Palestinian girl from Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem, awaits the return of her mother Fatima Shaheen who was freed from the occupation’s prisons today. Fatima was shot and subsequently arrested by occupation forces in April of this year, and remains paralyzed due to her wounds.

Who is eligible for release?

According to Al-Jazeera, the list of 300 Palestinians eligible for release under the truce deal comprises 33 women and a majority of boys aged 16-18. However, there are boys as young as 14 on the list.

Most detainees haven't been tried by a court (WSJ), many of which are in administrative detention (no charge, no time limit), while others have been convicted of crimes. It can be attempted murder at maximum. Many offenses are “carrying knives”, “threatening security”, “illegally entering Israel without a permit”, “supporting terrorism” and “throwing stones”. In July, the organisation Save the Children said that “the main alleged crime for these detentions [of minors] is stone-throwing, which can carry a 20-year sentence in prison for Palestinian children”.

Overnight, Hezbullah attempted to shoot down an Israeli UAV over Lebanon, one of dozens violating our airspace.

The air defence was allegedly intercepted by Israeli air defence, and in response to that, Israel carried out a series of airstrikes in Lebanon.

All this? Took place in Lebanon territory over Lebanese lands in Lebanese skies.

📰 A container ship owned by an Israeli billionaire came under attack by an Iranian drone in the Indian Ocean.

🔴 Israeli air defences were activated after rocket siren on the Lebanese border.

📝 The ceasefire in Gaza will resume as long as there are civilian settlers in captivity, Hamas and PIJ, can release.

However as soon as they are left with only soldiers, negotiations will start with a Palestinian demand to release thousands and thousands in Israeli prisons, including leadership and those who killed countless Israelis many years before.

This will obviously collapse the negotiations and hostilities will resume.

Resume until something major happens (that leads to the death of Hamas leadership or loss of combat ability), or until Israel's army and economy is exhausted.

Israel will have to make a hard choice that will end Netanyahu's political career. He was considering retirement after the war anyways.

Only then, will real negotiations start for that release. Unfortunately it won't be easy and it might take a month or two more of this war to reach that moment.

According to data obtained by the 972 ⁠Magazine, the Israeli military partially censored 990 and entirely blocked 159 articles in 2022.
