Several injuries were recorded in the ranks of both security forces and protesters from the rock vs gas shelling.
- PM Diab toured Beirut port in private and unannounced, so he was late for his appointment with the Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who only shook hands with him and then left the Grand Serail !!!

-The Beirut Fire Brigade refused to comply with the commander of the regiment, who asked them, by order of the operations of the Internal Security Forces, to deploy trucks to suppress the demonstrators in downtown Beirut.
