🇮🇱 However its important to remember how the tank was designed to be the most protected and safest for its crew.
Tank rounds are stored in individual fire-proof canisters, which reduce the chance of cook-offs in a fire inside the tank, giving soldiers enough time to leave it before they explode.

🇱🇧 In the south of Lebanon, 14 million olive trees stand resilient, enduring the constant threat of Israeli occupation and the relentless ecocide it continues to afflict upon this land.
The Israeli army has burnt down more than 50,000 trees since October 2023
Unfortunately this year, all of south Lebanon will not be able to harvest the due season. The IDF issued explicit threats against farmers today to not go the olive trees to harvest, or they will be attacked.

🇱🇧 The recent Paris aid conference has dedicated some 200 million for the Lebanese army, most to pay the salaries of this suffering force.
The Lebanon government announced they need help paying and training about 6,600 soldiers to be added to the army and deployed alongside the 10,000 currently in south Lebanon as part of the post-war settlement.
No reports yet in how they plan to arm the army to become a truly capable force to defend Lebanon, and not limited to counter terrorism and police work.
Like in 1982 (photo) and so will in the future, any aid given to the Lebanon will be comminuted with the IDF as "policy justification".
The West who allowed Israel to do anything and gave it anything, will make sure the Lebanese army is never able to truly threaten Israel.
As the Kataeb party said once, and as the West wants us to "flourish", is to implement the policy of:
"Strength through weakness". Lebanon to be too weak to threaten anyone, thus gain peace through weakness and normalization.

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 So far since 1-Oct, Hezbullah attacked 38 Israeli Merkava tanks in south Lebanon and in the border area.
We can notice the absence of any in Mays al-Jabal and Blida, a front which be part of investigations after the war.
Exact toll of tanks damaged, repaired, destroyed fully is not clear.

I do think there is one important factor to why the IDF might cut short its operation in Lebanon, and it is to dedicate resources for Iran and to avoid spreading too thin. The air force can't be busy on both fronts, too much strain.
Without the air force, the IDF is nothing too special.
Whatever delayed the Israeli response, was the need to do progress here, enough to achieve few goals to make it worthwhile.
Tonight about 10 explosions were heard in Iran's Tehran. Is it the start? Or just another normal tense night?

🇮🇱 Ronen Bergman, Mossad's favorite lapdog announced that the Israeli attack on Iran started
🇮🇶 Explosions heard in Iraq, where Israeli jets are probably over launching their attacks towards Iran
🇸🇾 Syrian AD is trying to defend against the Israeli attacks on it, suppressing the AD to protect the jets
🇱🇧 We only heard two big explosions, literally everywhere in Lebanon
