The Israeli media is claiming it's due to negotiations for a ceasefire, but we all know it isn't. It is political because the government didn't sanction any deeper action and is still insisting of "limited border operations"

🇮🇱l🇱🇧 Over the past 5 days the 146th Division has withdrawn from the Yarine-Marwahin area and moved to the south of Khiyam

Even after they finished operating in Marwahin, today an airstrike was reported there.

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 The 3rd and 228th Brigades (91st Division) withdrew from Hula while the 8th and 226th Brigades (91st Division) continue destroy civilian houses in Aitaroun.

Battalions under the regional brigade (769) are also still there demolishing houses in Aadaysit and Kafr Kila.

🥀 Today marks 76 years since the 1948 (31st October-November 1st) Houla Massacre in Lebanon by the Israeli army, the first massacre in Independent Lebanon.

During Operation Hiram in October 1948, Israeli forces took control of 15 Lebanese villages in the South, extending to the Litani River, and largely sought to depopulate these. Hula being one of them captured without resistance

Women & children were expelled, most of the men aged between 15- 60 were captured without a clue on what to do with them.

According to a letter from Lebanon to the UN, addressed to the UNSG in 1998, the Israeli army executed the remaining children, young persons, older & disabled persons.

While waiting for instructions, IDF soldiers had rounded up the remaining victims, shot at them with machine guns and blew up the building they were kept captive in.

Shmuel Lahis, the only soldier that was trialled, was given a sentence of 7 years, dividing the Israeli community. His sentence was appealed and reduced to 1 year which was later revoked & given pardon by President Ben Zvi.

Lahis would go on to become the director of the Jewish Agency while no justice has been given to the victims nor to Lebanon.

⭕️ Hezbullah released footage of today's attack towards the Kiryats in Haifa, which killed two and injured others among some material damage.

⭕️ Yesterday they released footage of yesterday's attack with drones and guided missiles towards the 3 Israeli bases in Shragha, Elakim, and others
