❗️A drone strike targeted a valley between the towns of Al-Msaileh and Al-Najariyah
The attack near Sidon injured 3 according to the Lebanese ministry of Health. Not sure, but reported initially as light.
This area is many km north of Litani river, and not only a violation of the ceasefire, but a violation of the 1701 and the other futile agreements.

—❗️🇸🇾 BREAKING: Former President Bashar al-Assad has released his first statement
'With the expansion of terrorism in Syria, and its arrival in the capital Damascus on the evening of Saturday, December 7, 2024, questions began to be raised about the fate and location of the president, amidst a torrent of confusion and stories far from the truth, which constituted support for the process of installing international terrorism concealed as a Syrian liberation revolution.
At a critical historical moment in the life of our nation, when truth should have a place, there is something that needs to be clarified through a brief statement. These circumstances and the subsequent complete cessation of communication for security reasons did not allow for a statement to be made, and its brief points do not replace the narration of the details of everything that happened, which I will address at a later time, when the opportunity arises.
First of all, I did not leave the country in a planned manner as was rumored, nor did I leave it during the last hours of the battles, but rather I remained in Damascus following up on my responsibilities until the early morning hours of Sunday, December 8, 2024. With the expansion of terrorism inside Damascus, I moved in coordination with my Russian friends to Latakia to follow up on the combat operations from there.
Upon arriving at the Hmeimim airbase in the morning, it became clear that our forces had withdrawn from all defensive lines and that the last army positions had fallen, with the deterioration of the field situation in that area increasing, and the attack on the Russian military base itself being escalated by drones. In light of the impossibility of leaving the base in any direction, Moscow asked the base leadership to work on securing immediate evacuation to Russia on the evening of Sunday, December 8, the day after the fall of Damascus, and after the fall of the last military positions and the subsequent paralysis of the rest of the state institutions.
During those events, the issue of asylum or resignation was not raised by me or by any person or party, and the only option presented was to continue fighting in defense against the terrorist attack.
In this context, I emphasize that I, since the first day of the war, refused to trade my country's salvation for personal salvation, or to bargain with my people with various offers and temptations, and this is the same person who stood with the officers and soldiers of his army on the front lines, dozens of meters away from the terrorists in the hottest and most dangerous hotbeds of conflict, and is the same person who did not leave during the most difficult years of the war and remained with his family and people to face terrorism under bombardment and the danger of terrorists storming the capital more than once during fourteen years of war. And whoever did not abandon the non-Syrian resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, and did not betray his allies who stood with him, cannot be the same person who abandons his people to whom he belongs, or betrays them and his army.
I have never been a person who seeks positions on a personal level, but rather I considered myself the owner of a national project that derived its support from a people who believed in it. I carried the certainty of the will of that people and their ability to preserve their state and defend its institutions and choices until the last moment. With the fall of the state into the hands of terrorism, and the loss of the ability to provide anything, the position becomes empty and meaningless, and there is no meaning to remaining responsible in it. This does not mean in any way abandoning the authentic national affiliation to Syria and its people, a fixed affiliation that is not changed by position or circumstance, a affiliation filled with hope that Syria will return free and independent.'

🇱🇧 Sahar Ghaddar and Ghina Ghandour (both Shia) were arrested after a lawsuit was filed against them by MTV, where they tweeted on X against them for their biased coverage during the war.
Sahar is the daughter of a Hezbullah Martyr, before the liberation, and grew up an orphan.
No support was given to them by the "liberal and press freedom" media, for clear hypocritic reasons.

🇱🇧 It seems journalist/activist Evelyna Mhawis was also arrested over a tweet condemning MTV's pro-Israeli bias of the war.
Remarkably no one was arrested throughout the war for inciting against the Lebanese, the resistance, supporting Israel, etc...

Anti-Hezbullah Lebanese celebrated their arrested calling it the start to prosecute Hezbullah in Lebanon!? Delusional.
Several Hezbullah MPs were vocal about the arrest, and reportedly contacts were made to release the woman and nor spend any more time at prison over tweets on X.

🇸🇾 It's understandable to be pragmatic with the events in Syria, but the speed that the U.S. and Europe is normalizing is simply mind-blowing.
Joulani whom the UK officials are standing next to today, yesterday the UN, and before others is an ex-ISIS ex-Al-Qaeda member who participate then led for a two decades terrorists who killed on sectarian bases and detonated car bombs and suicide bombers in markets and neighborhoods in 3 different countries (Lebanon, Syria, Iraq)
Yet, these same people refuse to engage with the likes of Hezbullah. Tells you enough.

It's as if everyone is making pilgrimage to the guy now, including Lebanese officials.
Ffs the man was behind dozens of car bombs and suicide bombers in Lebanon. That's not speculation or unsolved crimes, but confirmed details.
But it's fine. So is the hypocrite world. Let them enjoy their new "prince"

🇮🇱l🇸🇾 On Israel, Jolani told the NYT that:
- New Syrian administration is committed to 1974 deal between Syria and Israel
- Israel no longer needed to hold Syrian land to protect itself because the toppling of the Assad government had removed the threat from Hezbullah and other Iranian-backed militias.
So not only did he admit Iran and Hezbullah were a threat to Israel and he neutralized this threat, he promises not to become a threat (for now)
That's while Israel is attacking Syria daily and has invaded beyond the 1974 ceasefire lines.

🇱🇧 Lebanese Civil Defense teams continue to search for martyrs in the Jalahiya neighborhood in the city of Khiyam
The Lebanese army begins to retrieve the bodies of martyrs from the town of Adaisseh with the assistance of the Lebanese Red Cross
The army is expected to begin tomorrow to retrieve the bodies of martyrs from Taybeh with the assistance of the Lebanese Civil Defense

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 Update on the above:
- The Israeli procrastination in withdrawing from Tal al-Hamams is delaying the entry of the Lebanese army into the area, even though that it was part of the first phase according to what was agreed upon with the international UNIFIL forces.
Therefore the army's entry into Khiyam was limited to the vicinity of the detention center.
- In the same context, the Lebanese army did not enter the town of Adaisseh to withdraw the martyrs. The IDF is still refusing to allow them.
As for Taybeh, there was an agreement to implement this humanitarian mission but it requires coordination, and Lebanon is awaiting the results of the communication with the international UNIFIL forces.
No date has been set yet for implementation.
The Jews' evil goes beyond murdering, to denying civil defense to retrieve bodies from the fields and under rubble. Evil beyond any human evil in history, may they be dammed.

🇮🇱l🇸🇾 Visiting the Syrian mount Hermon, Netanyahu announced they are staying here for "very long" and that this new advantage will give them insight, sight, and advantage against:
1- The new leadership in Damascus
2- The Beqaa valley in Lebanon
From there, they gain unprecedented height advantage that will translate to military advantages, on top of what they already have

✍ Just a pro-tip
It's wrong to elevate Sayyed Hassan's son Mohamed Mahdi to a status he is not of, nor one he's asking for, and it's wise to avoid any comparisons with his father and raise likeness.
I've met Mohamed on a couple of occasions, and he's both a humble and a good man. But what he is, is not his father, and his fame is from his father
He is neither the heir, nor is he the successor, or does he hold any leadership of any sort. He's a son of a man who was a leader. And it is so and no more.
Idk how to explain his better, but you got my point.
