Let's hope the FPM (Gebran Basil) wins the christian town of Jezzine this weekend and the efforts of the LF forces fail.

FPM should correct their grave mistake from 2016 and regain this town and its parliamentary representation

In south Lebanon's sector, 56% of the towns gave a full confidence to Hezbullah and Amal and have accepted them without the need to hold elections in the towns

That's unprecedented

❗️A UN soldier was injured by a mine when they entered into Zibqeen valley

If you remember from the quoted post and after, it was heavily bombarded before and during the war to destroy Hezbullah's rocket infrastructure that was hidden in the very heavy forests.
❗️In area similar to the quoted, a few weeks ago UN forces were spotted there.

It is what the IDF attacked yesterday.

The UN is actively spying on Lebanon and giving coordinates and details to the IDF. This is no longer a conspiracy theory, it is real.

And FYI, all...

The UN is paying people about $150 to give them tips and information about Hezbullah in south Lebanon

Two minutes remain before people can withdraw

So far 60% of south Lebanon has accepted Hezbullah and Amal without elections (no opponets to run vs)

Its important to know that some are sunni and Christians towns that aren't part of the 60%

The other Shia towns are Hezbullah Amal vs people who are pro Hezbullah and Amal

In Kafra, Amal refused to agree with Hezbullah and Hezbullah got the town alone. It's a local dispute, not Amal vs Hezbullah leadership

Elections started in south Lebanon and so far all smooth.

Only issues happened in Sunni-majority Sidon city, where several scuffles were noted.

Elections % is still shy and close to 30% in the districts, but expected as many are diaspora, traveling, or not interested to vote due to no risk of Hezbullah-Amal loss

📸 On the other hand, the new Army commander continues with bold statement about Israel and the south

Army Commander from Sidon: "Our message is that the army stands firmly with the Lebanese, and that the Israeli aggression, which continues to violate Lebanon's sovereignty and occupy part of its land, will not deter the military institution from performing its duties to the fullest extent."

(Although idk what duties he is talking about)

📸 Hezbullah Deputy Executive Council Chairman Hajj Abdullah Qasir casts his vote in his hometown of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr.

Usually Hezbullah's Sheikh Naim Qassem would participate in these elections, even Sayyed Hassan Saffieddine.

However times have changed

For the South Lebanon which is south of the Litani river there are 144 municipalities distributed over:

Of these 144 towns, 72 won without elections whereas 72 have elections today

Of the 72 that won without elections, 71 are for Hezbullah and Amal. One is for families

Of the remaining 72 towns, only 37 have Hezbullah-Amal participation.

The remaining 35 do not have any Shia participation. They are most likely Sunni, Druze, and Christian towns

The voting % here is for towns with elections, so it's accurate

It isn't the voting % including what was won without elections
