The U.S. SM-3 interceptors, launched from Arleigh Burke destroyers, are key to defending against missiles targeting Israel. They strike ballistic missiles in the midcourse phase—outside the atmosphere—at altitudes up to 250 km and speeds of Mach 13, with a range of 500-1,200 km.

A thread by Cario X on the early warning systems that Israel is helped with to know in advance about any ballistic missile launch
Turkiye has a secretive U.S.-operated AN/TPY-2 radar site at (38°20'57"N 37°47'36"E) referred to as “Site K” that provides early warning, detection, and tracking, of Iran’s ballistic missiles to Israeli-U.S.-U.K. forces in the Middle East 🛰️
🇺🇸 The U.S. has AN/TPY-2 ballistic missile early warning radars in Turkiye, Israel, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, all of which are focused on Iran’s ballistic missile forces.
The UAE is also an operator of the system, though it’s linked to the UAE-manned THAAD batteries (they have two), and Bahrain has its own AN/TPS-59 systems in its own military that also assist in detecting & tracking Iran’s ballistic missiles
