- The state (Lebanon), with its own forces, can extend its authority, but it cannot confront the enemy.

- The decision to confiscate weapons is an improvised one and dictated foreignly, not a sovereign decision, and its legality has been stripped from it.

- The state can begin reconstruction despite the debts, but no authority cares to take this responsibility.

- The hasty and dangerous decision by Nawaf exposes sovereignty and exposes Lebanon to Israel for tampering with its internal stability.

Yesterday Israel drone striked a vehicle owned by the Syrian Army in southern Syria which was carrying this machine gun.

Syria is neither at war with Israel nor does it form a threat to Israel. Nor was it part of 7-Oct or any support front.

Yet? Syria is attacked

This is to tell you exactly how they want Lebanon to be. The first step is to disarm Hezbullah and the second step? Disarm Lebanon.

The anti-Hezb people and pro-disarm know well that the U.S will not arm the army to be capable to defend against Israel.

But they know well, that after Hezbullah is disarmed the Lebanese state can move forward with signing peace with Israel because the lack obstacle is removed.

Israel will not stop attacking Lebanon unless Lebanon normalizes, because Israel will continue to see Lebanon as a fertile ground where a threat can emerge.

And only through peace and outlawing any armed rhetoric against Israel will Israel be satisfied (exactly like in UAE now, Jordan, etc)
