Patriarch Odeh:All that the leaders want is to preserve their position and share, while the country is not of their concern

Few months ago, Odeh hosted a gathering of orthodox figures to protest their marginalization and refusing not being the one to name the new Beirut governor https://t.co/XLdXsQq1Dk
Lebanon was created to be employed in the service of a specific agenda, meaning as a service corridor for the major powers in the region. What happened was that it turned into an influential party in the region, and became a stumbling block to many projects.
The crux of the crisis is precisely this.
Interior Minister Muhammad Fahmy issued a statement in which he said:

“Regarding the call for a complete closure again, and despite the need to take more stringent measures to curb the accelerating spread of the epidemic, the Media Office confirms that such a decision belongs to the Committee for the Follow-up of Preventive Measures and Procedures for the New Corona Virus, pointing out that the Lebanese community is not a “game” between hands to be subjected to a week to close and another to re-open.”

Fahmy’s office wished “the concerned ministry would carry out its duties that had it abided by and the recommendations of the Ministry of the Interior since the outbreak of the epidemic in Lebanon would have avoided shedding of responsibilities, right and left.”
This came after the ministry of health objected the weak implementation of the COVID-19 procedures by security forces (Ministry of Interior) and asked for a 2 weeks lockdown.
The commander of the air defense system in the Zionist occupation army, Brigadier General Ran Kochav, in an interview with the Hebrew website Walah:

The Houthi attack on Saudi Aramco was a display of impressive military capabilities. (1/2) https://t.co/nk8OMISYkt
especially exposing the ability to surprise the enemy, and also showing the ability of Iranian weapons to the West. What happened with Aramco (the Houthi attack) could happen to us [by Hezbullah]. (2/2) https://t.co/wZdR9MoSFA
The Houthi attack on Aramco has been studied by the Western armies and the Israeli army to draw lessons. (3/3) https://t.co/VR8VaD3IK3
Gasoline is missing in a large number of gas stations in Bekaa, Beirut and the suburb leading to congestion at the entrances of the stations in the rest of the regions. As I mentioned yesterday, Beqaa was already out of fuel.

The reasons are two:

1- Sanctions on Al Amana and Al Aytam gas stations. Companies are not giving them any.

2- Lack of fuel in the whole market due to the lack of dollars and facilitation from the central bank.
The Ministry of Health: 1,006 new cases of Coronavirus and 11 deaths.
If the minister of health and minister of interior will keep fighting, we'll probably reach 5k soon.

One wants to close to country and make security forces harshly implement the closure, while the other wants COVID-19 to disappear alone without forcing a closure.
Ministry of Health sources indicate that 843 PCR have been performed in all prisons, and the result: 286 positive cases, i.e. 33.9% positivity rate.
Minister of Health in the caretaker government, Hamad Hassan Al-Jadid: I called for a two-week lockdown as a result of citizens' lack of commitment to preventive measures and underestimating the epidemic.
I personally hope all those with secret ties with Israel to normalize with it. I'm waiting for KSA, Oman, Kuwait, Sudan, Morocco, and others. The sooner the better, so the camps can be defined better.

Though I have to say Sudan is here being blackmailed to sign a deal. It is considering normalising if US will give Sudan $2bn support package plus guarantees for economic support in next 3 years and to remove Sudan from the blacklist of ‘states sponsoring terrorism.

It is expected that this year will end with $11 billion in imports, where the trade deficit will be $ 7-8 billion.

No big change in imports of food and health related products due to the the central Bank's support

Fuel imports is down $ 3 billion.

Source of data:@TfayliAbbass https://t.co/DJ9QrhWI8J
We usually used to import the worth of $20 billion yearly.
Just so you know, we import pencils and tooth brushes. This tells you enough about our economy.

The truth is that our economy was built on banking and tourism, something unsustainable in the middle east and in countries such as Lebanon.
