Brian Dipippa, the creator of left wing terror blog ItsGoingDown was sentenced to 5 years in federal prison today for throwing smoke bombs and a large firework at UPitt police while trying to shut down a Michael Knowles event in 2023
Dipippa was also an admin of Kolektiva (Mastodon instance for Antifas) where he failed to secure a database copy, which the feds got unencrypted.
Krystal Dipippa was sentenced to 3 years probation for her part in conspiring to attack police. In addition to the sentences, they have about 50k in restitution.
ItsGoingDown has flip flopped on shutting down activity recently, Brian sentencing likely did not play a role in this as he was detained pretrial due to his deep involvement in violent extremist activity.
