Extremist "Festivals of Resistance" promoted by anarchists in lead up to Trump Inauguration.
Several "Festivals of Resistance" are scheduled to take place across the United States prior to the Trump Inauguration. During the Trump Inauguration in 2017, more than 200 extremists were arrested after a riot in which local businesses were damaged, a parked limo was torched, and anarchists plotted to disrupt public transportation in DC. Instagram, a hub for anarchist extremism and violence, is being use to plan many of the demonstrations.
Protests are planned to take place at the following places and dates:

Kristopher Goldsmith, self-described "antifa" and professed war criminal, anticipates immigration enforcement actions to devolve into shootouts, noting that the first instance will make subsequent violence more likely. Others state that "there's zero chance things will stay peaceful."
Additionally, Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Park District, and Community Colleges of Chicago have all stated that they will refuse to cooperate with federal authorities to enforce US law.
