While the efforts are admirable, two main questions need to be asked: is the vaccine financially inclusive? And will it be controversial like Sputnik V (the Covid-19 vaccine)?

Three young Ethiopian architects — Daniel Waju, Binyam Bekehetu, and Fraser Abraha — have earned global recognition after winning silver in an international Archstorming competition for their design of a mobile emergency school in the West Bank.

Trained under Gomtu Nedafi Alebel in Addis Ababa, the trio refined their vision through years of trial, error, and quiet persistence. Their foldable, metal-free design responds to the realities of life under occupation — blending practicality with deep cultural awareness.
